okay seriously. i hate it when i see people dressed like they just walked into wet seal and bought the entire outfit on the nearest mannequin and then proceed to walk around like they are at the height of fashion.
leggings are cute but if i have to see eighty five girls walk by with leggings, jean mini skirts, some accessory that's big and gaudy and sequiny (usually a belt or purse) and obnoxiously large sunglasses, well, i just can't take it.
why do people think that they can buy every single "in" thing and wear them at the same time? its called integration people. you buy a new item and mix it with some of your other older pieces, that way it won't seem like there are a million thirteen year old girls walking around looking like they are on a five minute break between shoots for a jc penney ad.
i mean, come on.

( a picture update! )
i had so much food yesterday: a cheese bagel, queso dip and tortillas, two cheese and onion enchiladas, chips and salsa, two huge scoops of fried ice cream, four marble brownies, three pieces of pizza, a few slices velveeta cheese, six cans of mountain dew, ramen noodles and two bowls of cereal. i can really put it away when i want to.

i had the flu and threw up a lot. but i ate a lot of food after that, thus ruining the one good thing about getting sick.
it makes me so mad when people say lincoln was a white supremist. like, people, you cannot take a man out of the context of his time. i watched this special with the editor of ebony magazine and he said lincoln wasn't anything but a white honky and ugh it was just really bad. these people decry the emancipation proclamation but easily forget that lincoln was a driving force behind the 13th amendment.
like, keep your own politics relevant to your own time. you can fit a man into the mold of today if he lived over a hundred years ago.
why am i getting mad about this? oh yeah because i am a nerd.

for valentine's day, ray got me the most romantic and thoughtful gift ever.
what, you ask?
why, a book: the jay treaty debate, public opinion, and the evolution of early american political culture by todd estes.
yes. i think everyone needs a little more jay treaty in their lives.
speaking of which, why don't we burn effigies of politicians anymore? now that is a good reason why we say "the good old days". let's reinstate that good old american tradition, starting now. my proposal? an effigy ala john jay in 1796. but instead of jay and his treaty, it will be george w. bush with a copy of the patriot act in hand. up in flames, my friend, up in flames.

i am tweaking my layout because i really should be writing a paper about hernan cortes and moctezuma II and the conquest of mexico.
so, the inevitable follow up question would be... how does the layout look? and why do i care so much?
but you only have to answer the first question.

so, for old time's sake i put in 'opiate' by tool on my way home from oakland and, holy shit i hate maynard.
his attacks on christianity are, simply put, ridiculous.
like, um, maynard? is there a difference between telling people to believe that "jesus is good" and telling people to believe that "jesus is bad"?
because they both sound forceful and one-sided. so, you imply that following jesus makes one "blind". isn't telling people to follow what you say blinding as well?
and, no one can make the argument that he is putting his ideas out there for people to contemplate and then make an educated decision. he is TELLING PEOPLE WHAT TO DO. and trying to look deep and thought-provoking in the process. YOU ARE NOT FOOLING ME MAYNARD.
you, maynard, are a hypocrite to the highest degree.
p.s. does anyone want to buy the entire line of tool cds and the box set from me? it will cost you one box of ritz bitz. please consider my offer.

so, i have a christmas survey for all of you. this will help sort out the mess in my head regarding the subject.
1)what religion do you profess? 2a)do you celebrate christmas? 2b)if you aren't christian and you still celebrate christmas, why do you do it? 2c) if you aren't christian and you still celebrate christmas, would you be offended if someone said merry christmas to you? 3)do you think christmas has lost some its religious meaning, or even had any to begin with? 4)what does christmas really mean to you? 5)does anyone actually celebrate kwanzaa, for real?
and, i know there is only one shopping day left, so i am going to help you all out. i wear- shirt size: small pant size: 7 skirt size: 5 coat size: 4 or small shoe size: 7 1/2
i like brown, black and pink.
(i'm just kidding. sort of.)

i ate a big mac in its entirety today. i grew an inch and now i am five feet eight inches, but not because of the big mac.
it is because i drink a lot of milk. i am now on a diet of milk, fish oil supplements and turkey and swiss cheese sandwiches. i dont want to end up like my grandmother who broke her hip because of osteoperosis and died of bedsores and pneumonia.
what is a good weight for someone who is five feet and eight inches? cuz right now i'm at 130 and that doesnt seem too good. but i don't know.
anyone out there five eight? how much do you weigh?
my hips keep expanding, i could give birth to decatuplets. is that the name for ten? i dont know.
i want to wear a size four to five, but i'm stuck at a six to seven provided my hips dont grow anymore.
does anyone want to read my paper on the appeal of socialism in america between 1900 and 1924? i promise that it is not full of subtext meant to turn you into a red revolutionary like myself.
